Frequently Asked Questions - Telephony Service

 

  • Q. Are there any fees, rentals or charges to change to Nationwide?
  • A. No. We supply a telephone or autodialler for use whilst connected to our service, or choose CPS with no access codes or equipment.
  • Q. Will I still pay anything to BT or Cable?
  • A. Yes, you will pay BT or Cable your line rental and any other service provided by them. Directory enquiries will be billed by the line provider, unless CPS is used. You will still be able to use your select services such as call divert and call waiting, but the diverted part of a call is still billed by BT or Cable, unless CPS is used.
  • Q. Can I still use my existing telephone if I wish?
  • A. Yes, instead of a phone we will supply an autodialler or alternatively opt for CPS where no equipment is required.
  • Q. If I have extensions, can I have more than one telephone or autodialler?
  • A. Yes, additional phones or autodiallers can be purchased, or alternatively opt for CPS where no equipment is required.

 

    0800 FREEPHONE ACCESS

    We can issue you with a freephone number which will connect to your home phone.  The 0800 number can be used by any member of your family or friends who are away from home. This is particularly useful for children to keep in touch. You only pay for the cost of the 0800 calls made using this number, these call charges will appear on your home phone bill. There are no other hidden charges.
