Welcome to Nationwide Telecom. Our goal is to provide you with useful information about our group so that it’s easier for you to work in conjunction with us. With experience in the Telecommunications market since it was liberalised in 1984, we and our parent company Telecom (GB) Ltd, in association with some of the worlds leading network providers, specialise in the supply, installation and maintenance of corporate business telecommunications systems and services, and in 1998 introduced a new Nationwide Residential Service, having acquired our operator licences from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Office of Telecommunications (OFCOM). Our aim is to provide a comprehensive package of quality products from advice on telecommunications equipment and services currently available, through supply, installation, commissioning, training and ongoing maintenance. Nationwide Telecom markets its own range of network services; a comprehensive collection of products designed to provide quality communications at a substantially lower cost. The company Head Office and Sales and Marketing Division are based in Leicester; ideally placed to undertake and manage contracts throughout the UK. Since the break up of British Telecom and Mercury duopoly in the UK there has been a growing number of network providers. Nationwide has been frequently asked by existing and prospective customers for the facility to source network services from one supplier, without sacrificing their choice of products or value for money. In response, we have launched our own highly competitive range of network services to run parallel with our existing portfolio. With experience of customer requirements we are able to define the optimum service and then forge agreements with the worlds largest long distance carriers, to deliver a unique level of service to customers. In 1998, we introduced our own sophisticated itemised billing platforms with management reporting capability. Value for money and reliability are key elements of Nationwide Telecom’s service, we can offer cost savings on local, national and international calls, which are routed via a fully fibre optic fault tolerant network of the highest quality. There are no set up charges, and once connected there are benefits of no minimum call charges for Corporate clients, per second billing, plus many others. The Nationwide portfolio includes the provision of an Internet service as an ISP (Internet Service Provider), hosting not only our own branded web sites, but numerous managed web sites for our customers, plus a range of ADSL Broadband products. We also provision NGN numbers i.e. 0844, 0845, 0870, 0871 including freephone numbers.
